| Prior
to joining the EKMK firm in January 1995, Mr.
McMillan was an audit partner with the firm of
BDO Seidman, LLP, the seventh largest accounting
and consulting firm in the world where he headed
up the Southern California real estate group.
With over 27 years experience in public
accounting, he has provided audit, accounting,
litigation support, tax and business consulting
services to individuals, small privately held
companies and large public organizations.
Mr.
McMillan graduated from the
University
of
Southern California
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the California State Society of
CPA's where he served on the real estate
committee. Mr. McMillan is a past member
of the Los Angeles Venture Association, a
venture capital association, and Professions and
Finance Associates of the City of
Hope
. He has also served as a member of the
Board of Directors of the
Accounting Circle
, a support group of the
University
of
Southern California
. Mr. McMillan is a past member of the
Assisted Housing Managers Association where he
served on the publications and scholarship
committees, and a former member of the Board of
Directors of Habitat for Humanity Los Angeles.

| Mr.
Carter has over 26 years of audit, accounting,
tax and business advisory services with
experience in both local and international
accounting firms. His focus has been primarily
on providing professional services to privately
held businesses and selective individuals with
businesses ranging in all sizes operating
inunder all forms of entities including
Corporations (including professional, closely
held and S Corporations), Partnerships, and
trusts. He has special expertise in the areas of
tax audit representation, financial services,
law, health, real estate, the entertainment
industry, assembly and light manufacturing,
retail, wholesale distribution, technology, web
development, service industries and others.
Mr.
Carter is a Certified Public Accountant and has
served as a member of the Californai Society of
CPA’s with the Los Angeles Chapter of the
California State Society of CPA’s on various
technical committees. He has qualified as an
expert witness in
Los Angeles
County
superior court in Litigation Support matters.

| Stan
has more than 30 years of experience in
providing tax planning and business consultation
services to a wide range of clients. His
current practice primarily involves providing
innovative tax planning and consultation
services to high net worth individuals and their
closely held businesses. Prior to joining
Sanders Kalvin McMillan Carter, LLP, Stan had
been a tax partner with a Big Four accounting
firm.
Stan
has provided tax planning and consultation
services to businesses ranging in size from
Fortune 500 corporations to closely held S
corporations, professional corporations and
family partnerships. His clients have been
involved in a variety of industries including
manufacturing, real estate, entertainment,
metals distribution, software, law firms and
physician groups. He has extensive
experience in structuring business transactions
and state and international tax planning.
Stan
has a Juris Doctor degree from
Loyola
Law
School
, as well as Bachelor of Science and Master of
Business Administration degrees from UCLA.
Stan is a member of the American
Institute
of
Certified Public Accounts
, the California Society of CPA’s and the
California State Bar Association. He has
taught a number of national level tax courses
for a Big Four accounting firm and has served on
the planning committee for the California
Society of CPA’s Annual Tax Accounting Update
Conference.
